That doesn't make sense though. Why punish the people who like PvP (and who might not take part in many of the PvE Events) because of PvEers?If I had to guess, because neither the devs want to pvp anymore, nor do they want it for the casual public.
Now there is no incentive for them to flock into Cyrodiil and the Imperial City to get farmed. That is likely the reason.
I don't PvP, and I don't like how during Events SOME PvPers will just camp the quest areas to jump people trying to pick up/turn in quests, but addressing the concerns of PvEers getting ganked/farmed in this manner isn't a good fix. There are any other number of things that ZOS could implement, such as making an area around each quest giver a safe zone, that cut down on that sort of behavior without also punishing PvPers as a whole.

I’m concerned by how many cheese references are in the patch notes. I think I will do this questline this week and will report if I am in despair or if the cheese is balanced out by good writing.

this reminds me of a time back in 2014 when the group i was in found a hole in the wall in the banished cells dungeon and walked out on the checkerboard lol

I've been in Frostvault dungeon a few times lately. Every Skeevaton run this year, my character doesn't do skill animations correctly after returning to the boss. But, yesterday, after returning from the Skeevaton run, our Tank was a GIANT!

I got stuck at a door too. Was doing quest in Abamath, couldn't open the warded door and tried approaching it close to the door. Ward however pushed me back and I got stuck in the middle of the ward and the door. I wish I'd taken a screenshot, it looked very similar to yours.

What is the craziest things players have encountered?
For me it is-- I messed up on this one quest that I was doing... The door was locked, I moved and somehow got stuck under the world. 🤣

They just got me. I would change my vote if I could. The PERFECT recall for my character being bundled into 8000 crown crate bundle was my downfall.
